Screws are typically located in the corners and along the top and bottom of your vanity. Because of its many uses, though, it can get dirty and stained over time. Pull up the countertop and remove it apart from vanity cabinet.

Look underneath the vanity top for any fasteners holding it to the cabinet and remove these with a screwdriver. Lay towel over the stain to create barrier between the vanity top and iron. This will make it easier to lift up your vanity when it’s time to pull it away from the wall.

It is possible that the counter top is fixed with an adhesive to the wall. Pull the sink out and remove the top of the vanity.
